It is a very busy time of the year with all the holiday events, shopping, baking and running around.
I love this time of the year, but this year will be different for me
I am not going to stress out over every little detail. Things will be simplified and streamlined.
I am not going to worry if the windows get washed, the garden weeded or if everything isn’t spic and span.
I am going to concentrate on enjoying every moment with my family, to spend quality time sitting on the porch, sipping hot tea. Taking walks in the crisp air and maybe a game of touch football.
Gift will be handmade or bought from artists, baking will be deliberate and from the heart. Conversations will be slow and meaningful. Hugs genuine.
There will be big belly laughs, soulful discussions and peaceful solitude.
