I am getting ready for my show, this Saturday, October 12 at Hill Country Dwellings and Gallery in Hico, Texas. I am very honored to be their featured artist.  I always have such a fun time doing this show with them.  I see old friends and meet new friends.

This year, I concentrated on my animal friends.  I have had so much fun creating these kooky characters.  Each one has their own personality and joy. I will have my pottery that is inspired by nature.  Bowls with deer sheds, pitchers with unique roots or vines, and some with turquoise from New Mexico.   I am looking forward to this show and seeing everyone!

I will be sending most of my proceeds to help with the hurricane relief in my hometown of Weaverville, NC.  A suburb of Asheville.  It was hit very hard by the devastating force of wind and massive flooding.  Most of my family is safe, but many do not have anything.  Everything they owned was washed away in the flood waters.  Many have lost their lives.  Just know if you purchase a piece of pottery, part of your love will be going to NC.

I hope you see you there!  It will be hot outside, (dang it, I want fall sweater weather!) but we will have nibbles and wine!

Until next time, be kind to each other,

xoxo
