After all the ’tilling, raking, composting, digging and planting, my vegetable garden is showing signs of life!
The green beans will soon be climbing and blooming
My sister grew Swiss Chard in her garden last year and I was hooked!
It is such a beautiful plant,  I can’t wait for stir fry!

Zucchini squash is one of my favorites!

A nice Early Girl Red Pepper.
I also planted green peppers and a jalapeno pepper

This is the first time I have planted purple heirloom tomatoes, they are
growing well so far!

I can’t wait to pick these cherry tomatoes and eat them right out of the garden
I LOVE Roma tomatoes
I can’t forget the birds!  These giant sunflowers will be tasty in a few months
A heart rock in the birdbath

My larkspur is blooming and adding pretty color to the vegetable garden

and a fence to keep all the night time critters out!

I hope that we get some much needed rain here in central Texas or my garden will be done before it ever begins!
