Glorious Rain!

I woke to the sound of thunder and rain hitting the windowpanes.  it has been months since our town as seen rain.  The fields are crispy and the ground is cracking.

It  is hard to believe with all the rain that is falling around the country, that we have been in extreme drought.  The forecasters are calling for 2″-3″ of rain!  That may not sound like much, but to me, it is glorious!

So today, I am going to sit on my front porch swing and enjoy this beautiful rain!

    Oh Cindy this is a beautiful photo. It is so sad you are in a drought and it just stopped raining here after months of it and we have finally started cutting and baling hay. I wish I could send you some. Take care and enjoy that porch sitting. Hug B

      Thanks Buttons! It is still raining! We have had about 3″ ! It will save our hay crop.

    Cindy – first of all – yea for the rain!
    second – yea on the new website! I haven’t been able to visit since I have been out of town and only had my phone with me…I ‘ve just gotten home and haven’t had time to explore all of it but I will…and I will definitely pass the word! congrats all around!
