Fall comes slowly to Texas. It is suppose to be 95 degrees today.
But this weekend we are going to cool down to the lower 80’s. Time to break out the sweaters!
I shouldn’t complain too much. We have a beautiful fall season that last nearly to late November.
We have sumac and red oak trees that turn a beautiful red. Fall Wildflowers will start popping up in the fields.
There is a quote that says “Fall is a reward to the south for surviving the summer”
Somehow the crispy, drought ridden plants come to life, more spectacular showing than in the spring.
Yes, it will be 85 tomorrow and yes, I will have on a sweater, drinking hot chocolate , watching for the ducks to fly in and looking for the fall flowers to bloom.

Beautiful!! I will not be wearing a sweater tomorrow, but as long as it’s cool in the mornings, I will praise God for Fall. Love that quote, too.

Also, your website is just beautiful.
Love your new look Cindy! Your written words have touched me too. I have moved to Alabama now–but you keep me “close to home” w/ your blog. XO!

Cindy I love your photos! And we too have had a very hot summer and it is still hot! This is very untypical for Minnesota but I can’t complain; it’s been gorgeous! Be well, Anita
Yes Anita! I got your message! Thank you for stopping by my website. It has been a bit of a trial and error for me, but I am starting to figure out WordPress.
